Wasn’t it scary to leave your family and travel to Africa, Australia, and Borneo?

Of course. I always miss my family and friends when I travel, I just don’t let that stop me from my goals and dreams. When I first began exploring in my early 20’s, I had many friends and family members express concern about my travel obsession, but after seeing my passion and that I was properly researching and practicing common-sense, they began to support my choices. My mom struggled the most at first but she eventually realized that she told me to dream big as a girl and now that I was living that dream, she didn’t want her fears of the unknown to hold me back.
